A greater permeability to heat flow also helps to prevent a consequent increase in the life of this, also avoiding mixture leaks from the head. By adopting this solution, just like in racing cylinders, it was possible to solve all loosening problems due to vibrations, regardless of the power achieved. The new flange, made of blued steel, also has two spring housing ears for connecting artisanal mufflers without having to drill holes in the cylinder fins. Excellent sealing is ensured by an O-ring placed on the mating wall of the fitting, which prevents any oil residue from leaking from the exhaust outside the cylinder.
